GATHER Industrie GmbH has developed a stainless-steel coupling adapter with short connection thread. It can be used for all standard industrial barrels with a 2-inch connection.

 

The self-closing nipple is screwed into the 2-inch barrel thread by hand and can be tightened with an open-end wrench over the hexagonal wide wrench, protruding beyond the barrel collar.

The O-ring of the adapter provides a secure seal and prevents herewith leakage and production stops.

The proven GATHER dry-break technology called “DBG” enables a simple, quick and dry-break connection!

  2. 2-sided, self-closing shut-off valves (nipple and socket)

GATHER Industrie GmbH has developed a stainless-steel coupling adapter for IBC containers.

This coupling is quickly screwed at the standardized thread (S60x6) of the outlet opening.

This new coupling adapter is based on the proven DBG (“Dry Break”) coupling technology.

This enables a very simple, quick, and non-drip connection to the IBC container.

 

 

Technical details

  1. Plug end with welding end according to DIN 11866 / A / DN32 and welded-on S60x6 container connection
  2. Seals in different – also FDA-compliant – materials (EPDM, FKM)
  3. Surfaces conforming to hygiene class H2 (Ra ≤ 0,8 µm) on request

Just like the pump sizes I and II, this new compact pump type BG III is hermetically sealed; a reliable, leak-free solution for extremely high to low temperatures. These process pumps from GATHER INDUSTRIE GmbH are unique in their ability to handle system pressures up to 325 bar!
This makes them ideal for a variety of challenging applications, such as seal units, sample units, including cryogens!

With the BG III, these special applications can now also be run on a larger scale!

When selecting this pump, a wide variety of material combinations is available to perfectly match your application. A stainless-steel horizontal extension flange is provided for assembly with a drive.

New MAAG industrial gear pumps for precise dosing and conveyance. For industrial applications the processed medias vary widely from corrosive and abrasive media, to applications with high (differential) pressures, high viscosities, and high temperatures. With the new MAAG innovations, pump types dosixTM and flexinoxTM , Suurmond further extends her portfolio and can herewith satisfy the demand for precise dosing and conveying units even better for a wide range of diversified media.

Due to the chemical properties of the conveyed media, the quality requirements for industrial applications are very stringent and diversified. Thanks to their chemical resistance the MAAG dosixTM and MAAG flexinoxTM gear pumps are used for different chemicals involving highly pure, corrosive, viscous or very hot media, e.g. acids, solvents, molten sulphur, and flavours or fragrances but also for food and pharma processes.

The housing cover of both MAAG dosixTM and MAAG flexinoxTM consists of a three-piece configuration that facilitates maintenance and the replacement of internal parts, i.e. gears and bearings.

The MAAG dosixTM is corrosion resistant and electrically heatable especially designed for small throughputs. The superior dosing precision of the pump makes it an ideal solution for applications such as flavours and fragrances that require the accurate dosing of low viscosity scent and aroma components. The new dosixTM is available in five different sizes.

 

MAAG flexinoxTM – the new conveying pump

The MAAG flexinoxTM gear pumps are also corrosion resistant and can be heated, either electrically or by fluid. The flow rates are higher compared to the dosixTM and the application range is extended to resins and various plastics, e.g. precursors of carbon fibres. The new MAAG flexinoxTM is available in four different sizes.

To enable a varied range of process fluids and flow rates, the seal flange can accommodate different pump sizes!

The platform enables the client to accelerate R&D by screening and optimization. The platform can accommodate the operation of two modules, containing 12 miniature parallel autoclaves each. Independent parameter setting for each 12-reactor module in terms of temperature, pressure, headspace, reaction time and stirring. Check the video here!
